2014 TAG Alliances' International Conference
Two of ESV’s partners, Kurt Baker and Tim Valtwies, recently had the pleasure of attending The TAG Alliances’ International Conference in Miami.
The TAG Alliances are a network of independent accounting, legal and other business advisory firms, comprised of three distinct alliances – TIAG (The International Accounting Group), TAGLaw and TAG-SP. Together, the TAG Alliances bring together more than 15,000 professionals from over 90 different countries.
As a founding member of TIAG, ESV was delighted to attend this high-profile event and to connect with members from over 260 accounting and legal firms from across the globe.
The conference, spanning over three days from May 5th – May 7th, was held at the stunning Fontainebleau Hotel overlooking Miami Beach. However, it wasn’t all fun in the sun, with the alliances hosting over 16 informative and educational sessions aimed at firm and practice development.
As a member of the TIAG Board, our own Kurt baker co-chaired an especially relevant session about Best Practices, presenting a guide to structuring a successful leadership retreat.
A number of other topics were presented, with the most notable relating to bridging the gap between international businesses, doing business in the cloud, strategies for serving and protecting high net worth clients and what truly makes for great firms, great partners and great leaders.
With a mix of informative sessions and social networking events, the conference was an opportunity for ESV to strengthen the relationships we have created within the alliance, and also to form new international connections.
ESV’s affiliation with TIAG and the TAG alliances ensures we can provide our clients with the best global support and expertise in almost any legal, accounting or business issue, anywhere in the world.
We hope to continue to build our connection with this valuable network in future conferences and events, so that we can provide superior advice to our clients on any scale of local or international matters.
