Chris Kirkwood  

B.Bus, CA Chris delivers a high-quality integrated service to tightly-held listed companies and family controlled businesses in a commercial, responsive and client centric manner. He is involved in all aspects of their businesses including due diligence, pre-IPO planning, succession and estate planning and general business advice. Chris is the partner-in-charge of the Audit Division at ESV. He has extensive experience specialising in the performance of statutory audits for publicly listed companies, medium to large private businesses, subsidiaries of foreign registered entities and Australian Financial Services Licensees. Chris has a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Accounting) and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment (majoring in Corporate Finance) from the Securities Institute of Australia. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Chris is also a Registered Company Auditor and a Registered Tax Agent. His global perspective was instrumental in ESV registering with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board in the U.S.A. that was created by the Sarbanes Oxley Act in 2002. This registration allows us to act for subsidiaries of US companies throughout the region. Chris’ outside interests include playing guitar and following motor sport.  < back to Our Partners
